As a church that hopes to reach out to our immediate community, we host a FREE pancake breakfast every third Saturday of the month. We hope that our community who is experiencing homelessness can enjoy a nice warm meal and take advantage of our washer/dryer and shower. All are welcome to come eat and build friendships between each other.

(February’s Fellowship Dinner is February 2nd at 12:15 p.m.)

Our Hospitality Team hosts a Fellowship Dinner every first Tuesday of the month. These meals are free and open to both the church community and the wider Durham community as a place to connect with each other in conversation, feasting and friendship.
Little Free Pantry & Library
Contact the Church Office if you are interested in helping stock the Little Free Pantry or want to give donations

According to Feeding America, 12% of Durham county residents are food insecure. In light of this fact, our little church decided to do our part by placing a Little Free Pantry in our parking lot for immediate access to food where the pantry is replenished daily with single serve food items.
Alongside the pantry is our Little Free Library where books are exchanged for use by all. Feel free to take a book or leave one!

1 in 6 children in North Carolina is at risk of hunger. With this need in mind, we have partnered with three other churches who volunteer to put together food bags for students at Riverside High School when they go home for the weekend and might not have access to enough food. On average we provide food for 30 students a week. The churches involved in this service project are Aldersgate United Methodist, Bethany United Methodist, Immanuel Baptist, and Greystone Baptist.
